A cosa serve

Mostra il tempo di adesso e le previsioni per quattro giorni. I dati arrivano da Open-Meteo, un servizio gratuito che non chiede account. La città può essere trovata in automatico oppure scelta da una lista.

Come si usa

1. Apri l'app con il tablet collegato al Wi-Fi. Al primo avvio la città è AUTO (IP): la posizione viene stimata dalla tua connessione internet, quindi è indicativa.
2. A sinistra vedi temperatura, descrizione del tempo, temperatura percepita, umidità e vento (in km/h).
3. A destra ci sono le previsioni per oggi, domani, dopodomani e il giorno dopo, con minima e massima.
4. In alto, accanto alla città, un pallino ti dice lo stato: verde = dati aggiornati, giallo = aggiornamento in corso, rosso = offline. Sotto leggi da quanto tempo sono stati aggiornati.

I dati si aggiornano da soli ogni 15 minuti mentre l'app è aperta.

Comandi

• CITTA': apre la lista. Scegli AUTO (IP) oppure Roma, Milano, Napoli, Londra, Parigi, New York o Tokyo. Tocca X per chiudere senza cambiare.
• SYNC: aggiorna subito i dati.
• C / F: passa da gradi Celsius a Fahrenheit e viceversa.
• Gesto Indietro (scorri dal bordo sinistro verso destra): chiude la lista delle città; se la lista è chiusa, esce dall'app.
• Scorri verso l'alto dal bordo inferiore per tornare subito alla Home.

La città scelta, l'unità di misura e gli ultimi dati scaricati per ogni città restano salvati sulla scheda SD. Quando riapri l'app vedi subito quei dati, con la loro età, mentre si aggiornano.

Problemi comuni

• Serve il Wi-Fi: senza connessione i dati non si aggiornano. Collega il tablet a una rete in Impostazioni, poi tocca SYNC.
• Pallino rosso e scritta OFFLINE (DATI SALVATI): il collegamento non è riuscito. Vedi gli ultimi dati scaricati per quella città, salvati sulla scheda SD. Sotto il pallino leggi da quanto tempo (per esempio "AGGIORNATO 3H FA"): sono dati veri, ma vecchi. Se sono di un giorno precedente, le previsioni mostrano la data (es. 29/09) al posto di OGGI e DOMANI.
• NESSUN DATO: l'app non è mai riuscita a scaricare il meteo per quella città, quindi non mostra nessun numero. Controlla il Wi-Fi e tocca SYNC.
• La città in AUTO non è la tua: la posizione da internet può essere quella del tuo operatore. Scegli una città dalla lista.

What it's for

Shows the current weather and a four-day forecast. The data comes from Open-Meteo, a free service that needs no account. The city can be found automatically or picked from a list.

How to use it

1. Open the app with the tablet connected to Wi-Fi. On first launch the city is AUTO (IP): your location is estimated from your internet connection, so it's approximate.
2. On the left you see the temperature, a description of the weather, the feels-like temperature, humidity and wind (in km/h).
3. On the right is the forecast for today, tomorrow, the day after and the day after that, with low and high.
4. At the top, next to the city, a dot shows the status: green = up to date, yellow = updating, red = offline. Below it you see how long ago the data was updated.

The data refreshes by itself every 15 minutes while the app is open.

Controls

• CITY: opens the list. Choose AUTO (IP) or Rome, Milan, Naples, London, Paris, New York or Tokyo. Tap X to close it without changing.
• SYNC: refreshes the data now.
• C / F: switches between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
• Back gesture (swipe right from the left edge): closes the city list; if the list is closed, exits the app.
• Swipe up from the bottom edge to go straight to the Home screen.

The chosen city, the unit and the last data downloaded for each city are saved on the SD card. When you reopen the app you see that data straight away, with its age, while it refreshes.

Common problems

• Wi-Fi is required: without a connection the data can't update. Connect the tablet to a network in Settings, then tap SYNC.
• Red dot and OFFLINE (SAVED DATA): the connection failed. You see the last data downloaded for that city, saved on the SD card. Below the dot you can read how old it is (for example "UPDATED 3H AGO"): it's real data, just not fresh. If it's from an earlier day, the forecast shows the date (e.g. 29/09) instead of TODAY and TOMORROW.
• NO DATA: the app has never managed to download the weather for that city, so it shows no numbers at all. Check the Wi-Fi and tap SYNC.
• The AUTO city isn't yours: the internet location may be your provider's. Pick a city from the list.
