versione 1.0.0 · Licenza: Zlib (game); MIT (emulator) · Sito del progetto

Libbet and the Magic Floor

Libbet and the Magic Floor

Libbet and the Magic Floor by Damian Yerrick: a port of Martin Korth's Magic Floor puzzle starring Libbet the boulder girl. Roll and jump across floor tiles of four shades, leave tracks on 90% of them and reach the exit. Zlib license (github.com/pinobatch/libbet).

version 1.0.0 · License: Zlib (game); MIT (emulator) · Project site

Libbet and the Magic Floor

One day, Libbet was rearranging her basement when she found a passage to an empty hall with a strange floor. The tiles have four shades: Libbet can roll or jump between tiles of the same shade, or onto the next brighter shade (and from white to black), which leaves a track. Tiles with no exits hide a trap door back to the entrance. Leave 90 percent of the possible tracks and roll to the exit to win. There are achievements for particularly clean runs.

Controls

In the game

START plays, SELECT shows a demo. D-pad rolls, A + direction jumps.

The pause menu

Resume, Reset (power-cycles the console), Zoom 4x or 3x (smaller, more room for the controls), Colours (green, grey, Pocket, Game Boy Color style) and Exit closes the game. Zoom and colours are remembered. The system back gesture opens the menu; twice, it exits.

Sound

Sound is emulated (the Game Boy's four channels). If another app holds the speaker (the Music app, say), the game starts muted and retries every few seconds.
